He said nearly all the infamous WMDs were destroyed. Since it was him there doing it, I'm inclined to suspect he has more idea than anyone else. My experience of government, including military wings, is that they are anything but intelligent. It's almost certain that whatever they do will be unintelligent or dishonest or destructive of taxpayers through self-serving feather-bedding or outright theft. Where's the list of WMDs that the UN had in 1998? I'd quite like to see it. It would be interesting to know how things got on the list. By that I mean, who wrote the list and where exactly did they get their information? I would bet that There is No List. It'll be too secret for me to see, because they are intelligence services and anything intelligence services do is 12 year old boy's secret club stuff and nobody is allowed to see. If 12 year old boys were allowed to play as they should do, maybe they'd go through the correct developmental steps and not get fixated on things which they should grow out of. It's bad for children to miss developmental stages. Where's the list. I suppose I should look at the UN website, but I know it won't be there because it's sure to be secret. It should be right there at the CIA website too, but it won't be. Go on shock me with some facts... giggle.... Yeti... BigFoot... sure there are bogeymen which Saddam had hidden right up to him having to run for it which Hellfire missiles coming in. Since he was accused of having WMDs and was being attacked for having them, there seems little point in destroying them [at a time when they would be most useful]. If they are found, so what? It wouldn't change anyone's opinion of him. If they are not, so what? He's still hiding in a bunker from the Hellfire missiles and troops. Anyway, it would take a lot of people to destroy the umpteen tons of WMDs which Tony, GeorgeII and co claimed were around. Some of those people could be induced to talk now that there's no Saddam and show where they buried or otherwise disposed of them. Bear in mind that they were running away in their undies, so they probably weren't too worried about hiding WMDs either. Mqurice
