jttmab, You seem to be far more willing to accept Fleet Street than is good for democracy. :) I see Murdock and Black's control of a vast swath of your media to be profoundly anti-democratic and in need of some tidying up. :) Same here in the U.S., even more so. The mendacity, small-mindedness and vulgar commercialism of our media isn't a natural phenomenon. It's a culture of shallowness that has been foisted on us by the greedheads. I resent the destruction of our culture by the vile charlatans and manipulators. Of course, I realize that in the majority of thinking folks. That was made abundantly clear by the vociferous objections raised by hundreds of thousands of us, and hundreds of organizations opposed to the despicable choice made by the Repuglican Commissioners of the FCC on June 2.
