Yep: "The idea that if any nation fell to communism, the surrounding nations would be likely to fall to communism as well, starting a chain reaction in which nations "fell" like dominoes in a line. The Domino Theory was used to justify US involvement in Vietnam. According to Domino Theory, if Vietnam fell, all of Indochina and more might fall. Yep. And, of course, that concept of and more was expanded by many other, and later, political speakers and thinkers... and reprinted on many, many editorial pages, to refer to most every part of the world as potential 'dominos' at one time or another.
