LOL! You are a cheeky monkey! I have proven that your recollection was mistaken, several times, and you pretend it is confirmation of your memory. The Domino Theory had to do with south Asia, not the fall of the entire Free World. Interesting musings. I do not think that anyone misunderstood the role of nationalism and colonial resentment, actually. What we did was engage in a war that we were not prepared to bring to a close, by taking the war to the enemy. Sometimes nationalism and anti- colonialism even worked in our favor, by keeping otherwise socialist nations out of the Soviet camp..........
