Wow!! Great find.

How many times have the bigots on this thread used that old nuggett to question the loyalty of those who support both US foreign policy and Israel's right to exist?

As the last paragraph suggests, I'm sure the Nazi lovers will be here shortly claiming that Rumsfield or Bushowitz or Cheynoff snuck into NSA and doctored the tapes before they were released.

In an article published in the Spring 2000 issue of Azure, author Michael B. Oren provided additional information, based on declassified Israeli military reports, that proved that the Israeli Mirage pilots did not see an American flag flying on the USS Liberty.

Obviously, Israel deliberately tried to sink the USS Liberty and kill all aboard. I don't want to waste time discussing that. But let's delve into Israel's primary propagandist on this topic, Michael Oren. For some reason people treat him as an unbiased researcher. In reality, he is:

--- Jewish
--- an Israeli reservist
--- a Senior Fellow for the Shalem Center, a right-wing Israeli think-tank. Here is a sampling of their work:

"Something terrible is happening to Israel. As the nation's 50th birthday approaches, it's looking - and sounding - more and more like the United States ..."

And people wonder why Israel would attack the U.S.?
