I don't think anyone can currently turn off ads if they're not already off, even paying members.

I do intend for subscribers to be able to turn off ads, just like on iHub (actually, it's not an option there -- they're just OFF for subscribers), but it'll be a long time before I get there.

Most of the ads on the right side are placed by TribalFusion. If they don't have an ad they can deliver (usually because of frequency caps), they redirect to ValueClick.
