the press kept asking Powell one after the other the same question about the line in his speech to the point it was obnoxious. These people need to get a life. You would think after he answered the question once or twice they move on to something else.

Makes sense to me. Intelligence is always, to some degree, guess work, and may require revision of the details, even when substantially reliable. During that process of assessment, it is very possible that some things will remain assumed until the process catches up to them.........
