This should be ILLEGAL ..... Yes this explains why the B/A many times changes before ones order is displayed. I've always seen it at Brown, old Ammertrade, and now at the new Ammertrade. ? Is there a routing option choice one can make that puts an order immediately out on Island skipping this many second delay call a market maker???? Something has changed...... In the not so distant past, a press of a 'key' would send an order and before you could take a breath the order would show up on the Island window viewer(<2sec). Today, with Ammertrade that process has slowed down. I don't know if its on the execution side or just on the Island window side. I've noticed 15 sec to a min delay. Also there is now a delay in updating the account value. The process has changed. Would appreciate any insight if this problem can be fixed by selecting an option at entry time.
