Bush sold the tax cuts on job creation and economic stimulus. So far no good on either. End of story

You cannot draw this conclusion based on the facts. We know that historically tax cuts are used to provide stimulus. We know that we had had this irrational exhuberance which resulted from the previous administration's over-hyping of the economy; and we know that it is reasonable to expect the economy to come back down after that period. We know that the crash began shortly before Bush took office, and that everyone thought it was going to be bad, oh so bad. We know that after Bush's first round of tax cuts, the economy turned out not to be quite so bad.

Frankly, my companies are having their best years EVER. I'm making more money in the stock market than I've ever made at any time in the past.

I think the Bush stimulus worked great. The unfortunate reality is that many of those jobs that have disappeared may NEVER come back. Because they're workers who are no longer needed. These are the consequences of technology and an information-based economy.
