KJC, <<I fully expected some of the other folks here to jump all over the article and hoist the warning flags, but I guess it was too subtle...>>

... we were too busy contemplating our own respective path to doomsville ;0)

Either that or some of us are waiting to buy more CanRoys rather than selling out what we already hold.

Chugs, Jay

Yes Kerry,
Wasn't lost on me but yes I didn't think that was your finer point. You know if you look at all the postings and discussions on Hubberts peak and NG inquiries etc. etc. here and on Godot's thread for example (not to mention mainstream energy boards eh!), Greenspan speaking on NG again I think J6P is already on board. They've also been all over the general news media up here for quite a while with bubbly talk. A lot of Americans listen to Toronto news too. Then again compared to the last bubble many are actually reasonably priced. Remember Naz 3K was overpriced LOL...

Guess I better read between the lines on your posts from now on ;o)

BTW all those anecdotal weather posts I made like Planted a new lawn a little late but it's coming in fine were in the same vein.. so don't feel bad :o)

I was overweight to the point of almost 80% energy trusts all told ... now about 20% energy trusts... less than core.. but likely buying opps are coming.. stick with better hedgers for now... Hedgers the anathema of goldbuggers ...

regards
Kastel

Re: Motley Fool on CanRoys... I saw that as both a warning and an opportunity -

The opportunity being that 'Fools' might push the valuations to very hig levels resulting in substanial capital gains.

The warning being obvious - these stock may be headed for a phase of distribution.

On the other hand, that's one data point vs. maybe 5-10 articles per day on 'tech stock recovery' and playing the QQQ, the E-mini S&P contract, and Greenspan's latest.

If there isn't another article about every 2 months, it isn't going to start a stampead.

You goota whack J6P over the head to have him buy other than tech stocks.

******

Now in Canada, there are big articles in the financail papers about every other week on Royalty Trusts.
