Well, one year later, your son continues to exhibit those same attributes that won him that award. You & you wife have good reason to be proud of him. BTW, my dad was a Marine. He saw action at Iwo Jima. "Among the Americans serving on Iwo island, uncommon valor was a common virtue." (Adm. Chester A. Nimitz) Although my dad was not perfect in all ways, he certainly lived his life in a manner that would make the Marines proud. And I learned a lot from him too ;-)
