Since you've put M on ignore, Id like to point out that you have mis-represented M's post.

He wrote;
"Lindy, not all expressions travel well around the world. I don't think Uncle Frank should include me in a worldwide circle of friends rooting for him. You can speak for yourself."

This is not the same as your remark "You posted not to include you in those good wishes."

Try to read your posts and their replies critically before you post them.

I don't know if M has met Ken, if not then, for many, friendship has not been established. This is one of several interpretations of M's remarks.

Had Uncle Frank written: "...a worldwide circle of SI members rooting for him." then you might have a case. But Uncle Frank didn't and you don't.

I think he might have been making a little semantic joke- I'm not sure, but I think he meant his good wishes would be phrased differently. I think you jumped the gun on him- I'm not sure Faultine would have done that- he always seemed to give people the benefit of the doubt, and he expected everyone else to try to do the same, while they were his guests.

You're an idiot, Bill. I've seen you pull this out of context crap any number of times. As Noel pointed out to you, what Mq actually wrote was,

"Lindy, not all expressions travel well around the world. I don't think Uncle Frank should include me in a worldwide circle of friends rooting for him. You can speak for yourself."

Google takes about 2 links to reveal the particular usage problem Mq was referring to, see the entry for "root" in psy.otago.ac.nz . It may not be the best of jokes, but it's a somewhat better joke than the locally popular one of conservatives looking for remarks to get all self-righteous about. Conservatives have so many things they are habitually self-righteous about, I have no idea why they constantly feel the need to pull more out of thin air.
