It's very difficult trading for me now, because Cash has to get to 1002.14 to close the island gap, 1½ handles higher than it's been so far today. I seems logical to do it. But it's playing with a loaded gun. If the market wants to treat the bulls with diabolical abandon(ment), they're going to use the imaginary, totally meaningless line at 1000.00 Spoos to do it ... and yet that would validate the bearish scenario, with much clearer information than the market usually gives to traders. Best that can be said right now is that the acrid smell of danger is just about everywhere, and the sidelines are a wonderful place to wear a gas mask.
