I agree completely. There was no need to use those particular words. If, his intent was to express a US commitment to stay in Iraq....he could have said exactly that in clear language.

Intent of commitment was jla's first claim; though on jla's second post he asserted that Bush intended to be provocative. In the later, Bush succeeded. Really dumb.

Who knows what jla will say in a third post.
