All week long they have closed the market in a "no decision" zone, and today was no exception. I expect the market to continue lower on Monday, but the gap that created an island out of Mon, Tue and Wed remains ... and the index has closed a lot closer to that gap than it did on Thursday. So I guess it's in a position to close that gap before going lower. I guess I need to do the charts and think about it some more over the weekend. Amazing how they close the market in a "no decision" zone day after day. It's almost as if you could figure out TA lately on the basis of "how does everyone get hurt a little?" In the past 5 years, I haven't seen quite this sort of action. I have no idea what it means not to blink for this long. But some smart technicians may start to go blind if it doesn't start giving better hints :o) Have a great weekend.
