well, that doesn't really answer the questions.

but I take it that they were not certified financial advisors. So now the question is "did they present themselves as certified financial advisors?"

And I guess that the other answer is "no, I did not use protective stops", otherwise there is no way that the numbers add up to equal a $10 million drop in your account value.
