Count, were YOU "cleaned out"?

What was your NET profit or loss from your trading with the broker defendants?

A question that my wife asked me recently...on a much smaller number, is "why didn't you stop?". At what point do you say to yourself "this isn't working, I need to try something else?".

If you blame them for the losses, then you have to give them credit for the gains. There should be a delta there. You say that you lost $10M, but it is unclear if that is a net number or a gross number. If it is a gross number, then what is the amount of gains? If you started with $10M and had $5M of gains and $10M of losses, the net is only $5M in losses.

I don't want to get too personal here, but can you answer if the funds you deposited in the account were greater than or less than $10M? It's pretty easy to run up transactions in the millions of dollars using only $100k. An example would be.

Buy 1000 shares of SPY at $100/ea

do that 10 times and you have just transacted a million dollars.
