Paul, I did not mean to say that LLTC or MXIM are value buys at all! I agree that there is not much margin of safety with ATML business strategy. However, all such companies usually do well on the upside of a cycle.

By the way, I would say that having a major debt burden for a company in any highly cyclical industry, like airlines, steel, semiconductor manufacturing, is a STUPID business strategy - like betting the whole company and the jobs of all its employees that there will never be that one downturn bad enough to knock it out. Well the steel and airline companies now know how bad a strategy it was.

Have you looked at EMC Vice Chairman for Scudder Funds last night on Kudlow and Cramer mentioned emc several times.. He says storage is booming... I believe his name was Frolig? seen him a few years back on various shows.
His top pick was emc.. and since a mutual fund I didn't think there was any chance of conflict of interest..
