Yes, and the President's press spokesman, every day sounds more and more like Comical Ali. Or like Nixon's creatures, who had to "clarify" the President's words when he "mis-spoke himself."

It's really a pity, that Powell has placed Loyalty above Honesty. Clearly, the Sec of State has had deep misgivings from the start, and has tried to apply the brakes to this runaway train. He's going to wish, probably already does, that he had done what Blair did. Too late now, he'll go down with a ship.
