I think you are right, Lindy, that the target has been moved. Tenet has said, as the man in charge of obtaining such information, I accept responsibility for inclusion of the ill- verified statement on behalf of my personnel who were unable to definitely prove the accuracy of the information they had obtained on the uranium procurement by Iraq.
Thats not what Kenneth Lay did, its not what Bill Clinton did- admit the facts.
Makes one wonder if he is a true Politician or just the kind of responsible boss anyone would love to work for.

Must be rather frightening to have the man in Washington, setting such difficult moral standards for others to try to live up to.

I admire the Democrat Mr. Tenet for saying "I take responsibility".... Wonder if the other Democrats who are raising 'whirlwinds of fog and hot air' are going to take that well...?

Will the public be outraged? Naah. They know that Bush was speaking what his Intel was reporting. The public also knows that the Admin was pushing the edge of the envelope on WMD. But they are with Bush on liberating Iraq

I'm sure you are right about the public opinion. (NOT) And if you are wrong I am sure you will admit you were wrong.

I still think things are tipping the wrong way for this Administration. I was surprised how non-supportive Hagel was last night. He wants and investigation!

Bush is not calling for Tenent's resignation. THey are joined at the hip because each knows what the other did or did not do in the run up to 9/11.

Timeline will tell.
