I heard a BBC report on the radio today, on Iraqi Jews in exile, who are trying to get their property back and considering going back to help rebuild.

At first I thought, it's wonderful that finally the BBC is mentioning the existence of the Iraqi Jews. They even noted that the community had lived in Mesopotamia for 2500 years! and how they had owned businesses and property, and left it all behind when they fled for their lives. Great!

Then, reality set in. The BBC was describing the community of "7,000 Iraqi Jews in exile in Great Britain and America," without even mentioning the fact that one million Israelis are Iraqis or of Iraqi descent.

Mustn't ever accidently class any Israelis in the class of innocent victims deserving sympathy.

Is it a leap to call officials of this murderous regime (total executed: in the hundreds of thousands and climbing) "murderers"?

Nadine, now you're implying that any Iraqi who wishes for Saddam's return was an official in his murderous regime?

Surely you do not wish to defend such a position?
