Steven is never, ever going to relinquish his assertion that the war against Iraq was hasty and unwarranted. It's quite fascinating to watch, really. Here we have a war that is essentially over but for the mopping up, but the opponents want an endless do-over as to whether it should ever have begun. I don't think they'll ever forgive Tenant. I knew that they always say that there are no second acts in American history, but I never understood that it was because they could never quit fighting the first act, over and over.
