The article was dealing with the interim gov't of Iraq, not military forces. Do you believe that with the UN or NATO involved, the interim gov't would be drastically different? And if so, in what ways would it be better? Seems to me, and maybe I'm missing something, that all groups are fairly well represented.
(Not sure how stealing oil came into this)
in edit: yes I know the article also mentioned military presence, but the main point behind it was the establishment of a governing body, which is also what your initial response was concerning)
