This is standard practice for colonialist adventures: divide and conquer. Get the Natives to murder each other, and the White Man can then Bear his Burden, and (reluctantly, with sorrow), take over (not because the White Man seeks colonies, but out of Christian Charity). Unfortunately, the Muslims are not cooperating. Abbas has said, he will not engage in civil war against Hamas, under any circumstances. Bush is unable to find any Muslim proxies, in or out of Iraq, to stand between our infantry and the incoming RPGs that are killing them daily. Duh; I can't imagine a more thankless task. Getting the Arabs to kill each other, instead of us, is wishful thinking, just as Vietnamization was (you remember, that was Nixon's policy of substituting S. Vietnamese Army body bags for the unacceptable American Army body bags.)
