The LIES were about why the RUSH to war UNILATERALLY.
There was actually no need to immediately invade Iraq and do it without the UN or at least a much larger coalition. The only reason was Bush had decided to do it so he had to do it. Some called that "bold" at the time. Now we see it was completely "reckless". Kerry is strong but he's not reckless, corrupt or stupid.
