There was no need for President Bush to be on the inaugural of the new Aircraft carrier. His presence would have probably taken away from the REAGAN presence in the form of Nancy. Bush is too much of a gentleman to do that. He greeted the carrier coming home from war to show his appreciation of the troops. Unlike Kerry, Bush NEEDS NO PHOTO OP to get noticed. If anything backfired it was only in the minds of desperate wannabe's not in the AMERICAN PUBLIC. jdn
