Interesting post, but didn't we hear the Iraqi defectors were giving the US exaggerated claims of Saddam's terror connections and WMD's so as to curry favor with the Bush administration. Note this disclaimer on the interview.

(Editor's Note: Although U.S. officials acknowledge terrorists were trained at Salman Pak, they say it is unlikely that these activities were related to the Sept. 11 attacks. It should also be noted that the two defectors interviewed for this report have been brought to FRONTLINE's attention by members of the Iraqi National Congress (INC), a dissident organization seeking to overthrow Saddam Hussein.)

So it is in their interests to lie and exaggerate. Certainly, if this report were true, it would have been brought up in front of the UN by Powell and would be all over the enws. But something is wrong with this. It's too pat. And no evidence of this camp and its 707 training plane has been reported since we took over Iraq. Funny huh? I would say this intel has to be corroborated independently. I wouldn't trust those Iraqi Congress guys, their leader was indicted for fraud after all.
