KLP and Hawkmoon, I cannot go back and search for past news articles. Besides this is just a discussion thread, not a court of law. Take it or leave it or you go and research it like the others are doing. I am of the opinion that people on this thread keep up with such news. However, this is not an issue of liberal right as KLP says. Things that are being said about George Bush are real. Here is a recent article on the disinformation campaign going on at the WH. slate.msn.com Unlike 2000, this time in 2004 the American people will decisively say that Bush is a minority President. There is nothing wrong with the man himself. He is, as the press says, a good man. What is at issue is whether he is capable as a leader with his short attention span, his enchantment with taking long vacations etc. Remember my friends, America is hurting. People are without jobs. This President has ushered in is a bunch of war mongering, no good folks. We need someone the likes of James Rubin, who could walk the Wall Street and command respect, the likes of Robert Reich who the Labor liked etc. etc. What about Christie Whitman? Why did she leave? She was respected somewhat in the environmental circles, but she was not a favorite of the WH. So it is the WH that is drawing clear battle lines. Nadine could say anything, you folks could say anything, even I could say anything and be accused of being a liberal. But when the cows come home, the question people will ask: Do I have a job, do I have my freedoms (Patriot Act). And what is the Govt. doing to serve me. Is the Govt. doing anything to help me out or is it busy in other countries in the name of fighting terrorism and incapable at that too.
