Bushies cannot stop the investigations now. GOP moderates are demanding them and any foot-dragging or stonewalling will be seen as deception and covering-up. I have a strong feeling the Bush White House will start breaking up, resignations, wanting to spend more time with the family, etc. And they will have a very hard time running on their record in 2004, despite all their money. In fact these scandals will also hurt their fundraising.

BUSH LIES DEPT.: Tejek, Re: When Bush's approval rating drops below 50%, and its very close to doing that, then I will know the Amer. public finally has figured out what we have in the White House! Karl Rove will go ballistic when the ratings drop that far. He'll simply call for another 9/11 type attack to get the public back into fear mode. This is the most cynical mal-Administration that has ever taken over the reins of power in America's history. We are on the cusp of becoming a police state/empire. This is the fantasy of the neo-con lunatics who've taken over the Departments of Death and Injustice. Squashing civil liberties at home, and stealing Iraq's oil are the goals.
