Yes Bush also lied to us about "permanent war" status. Why would he do that? Because it serves his own powr and control. It also serves his top special interests, weapons and oil. It also silences critics. In fact, as Kerry points out, the counter-terrorism war is not something you awin with massive troop movements, it's law enforcement and spook work, in close cooperation with ALL allies, and it's not even military, except for some special ops strikes.
