No, sorry, that excuse won't work, you'll have to look for something more plausible. Now that the U.S. occupies Iraq (more or less), we don't have to worry about burning our spies. Assuming the source was from Iraq. The credibility of the British PM, and the U.S. Vice President, and the CIA chief, and a few others, is at stake here. Give the source a visa to the U.S., and a new identity, and release the evidence. If it exists.
