The activities of JFK's father (and his father's associates) were blamed for the 29 Crash (and the Great Depression). Could some of the "tainted" money that Joe Kennedy made (selling short the market in 1929), have been used for President Kennedy's campaign? Do I place any blame on President Kennedy for any of the pain caused by the Great Depression? No, I don't. Do you? I understand President Clinton's stepfather, and brother abused drugs and/or ethanol. I believe that there is also a history of physical abuse. It doesn't mean anything to me, other than President Clinton understands how damaging drug and alcohol abuse can be to a family. But maybe, it means something else to you. The way you lay the sins of an individual on the rest of a family, doesn't seem very progressive to me. Though, from what I understand, Saddam will blame and punish entire family's for the sins of an individual - so I guess you're not alone.
