Yes, it was unbelievable.

Rummy explained it very well when he was interviewed by Russert yesterday. However, how many watched and listened to Russsert as opposed to those who will read the headline in the NYT and assorted other newspapers, concluding that R. was lying?

No mention of what "several hundred thousand" meant to him, which he explained in excruciating detail to Russert.

This is really bad stuff. The NYT editors have not learned a thing from the Blair episode. Objectivity and fair reporting is out the window.

I no longer read it on a daily basis. If it weren't for the crossword puzzle and the Books and the Travel Sections, I'd stop buying that POS on Sundays. The new Styles section sucks big time. The wedding and "partnership" announcements....Ptooooey!--who cares about weddings and "weddings" in NYC and environs or who the latest, bestest fashion designer is.

Dumbed down big time from its previous high standards.

End of rant.

Thanks Lindy...PERFECT example of propaganda...NYT Style...and others follow their lead. There are a couple of Propaganda threads here on SI...this should be noted on them as another footprint.
