Bush, likes to and continuously discusses and seeks advice from Rice, one-on-one. Not just because she is the National Security Advisor, but they go some ways back on this relationship. And Rice is very articulate and sincere, with no hidden agenda. She again came across that way to me in yesterday's talk shows. By conferring with Rice in this manner keeps Bush closer to reality since Rice, a African American woman, has made it a long way to the top, in spite of all the challenges. Bush respects her and she is very much down to earth. And so is Colin, a true soldier, team player, aye aye sir and all that.

The problem with Bush is that he is also surrounded with crooks the likes of Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz etc. These folks come the high flying, fly by night type of outfits. Wheeling and dealing with the sole purpose of "...what is in it for me personally baby..."And it this baggage that Bush will have to address in 2004.

Currently, our foreign policy is a disaster and this is impacting our economy. The money that we have is all spent on our troops abroad and the local economy is suffering. Bush has money to give to Africa. What about those African Americans in our inner city neighborhoods? WHo is going to give them the money.
