Wally,
As Brinker always says, calling a top is much harder than a bottom. Up til now, all the negative divergences to this rally have been only that, ie negative divergences. This bull trend has caused many to call premature tops. Sooner or later this bull trend will correct or stall out but ironically the further she stampedes, the greater number of people think she's near her end. But from a contrary standpoint that's when she's least likely to oblige. Bullish trends have a way of continuing further than most appreciate, without giving those who missed the buying opportunity, the chance to get in the saddle. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Vickers is not alone.
