Watson, our national credibility is more important than Bush's political career. If Bushies lie to the world on our behalf they hurt us all. If you think cover-ups are patriotic you just dont understand what democracy and accountability are all about. You would support impeachment of Clinton for lying about sex but not Bush for lying about why we had to rush into war all by ourselves, sticking the taxpayers with the cost and our troops with the casualties? That's not patriotic, that's something else. Even the military will not support another administration which lied to them about why they're fighting, a la Vietnam. This is a crisis for the Bushies but so far they're refusing to take it seriously. That makes them even more questionable as leaders IMHO. Bush needs to deliver a "mea culpa" himself, and so do Cheney, Rumsfield and Rice.
