Hi KLP; Re: "I believe we can NOT again be in the "wait till we're done in first" mode."

The problem, as before, is that you either have no idea who did these crimes, or if you did know, you can't find them. So you're impotent. You cannot have the criminal punished. The best you can do is to punish other people who lived near him, and that is a solution that doesn't work. (You're like the guy who comes home from work, finds his car window broken, so he sprays the neighborhood with rifle fire, LOL.) So get over it. Most of the terrorists, like OJ, got away with murder. It's human nature to desire vengence, even when obtaining that vengence is contrary to their own interests. But what you're failing to realize is that the same emotional inclination is active in the Moslems, and in the final analysis, they're capable of a hell of a lot more violence than you are. Ask the Israelis.

Question: Do you believe in God? If you do, what do you think of the Bible quote: "Vengeance is Mine, sayeth the Lord." Do you believe that this quote grants you the right to kill innocent people in order to obtain zero revenge against those who did wrong? Or do you think that this quote indicates that those of us on Earth are supposed to let the Lord take revenge in the next life, when our government is unable to provide it in this?

Look, if you're such a coward that you are unable to see the dishonor in attacking a tiny little nation despite the world's pleas that we not, and despite the fact that our accusations against them were nothing more than trumped up lies, then Jesus Weeps! But even if you are such despicable slime, why don't you at least recognize that even with all the soldiers of the US Army to avenge you, Bush still hasn't gotten rid of even Osama bin Laden, much less the thousands who now agree with him due to Bush's mistakes.

Given this fact, do you not agree that those innocent Moslems who have been killed, wounded, left bereft, or otherwise inconvenienced were hurt in a war that was unjustified by the single most important justification of any war -- that it be a success?

-- Carl

P.S. For those who don't understand, an explanation for the reference to "Vengence is Mine, sayeth the Lord":

...
Which of us, then, is qualified to exact vengeance? None of us. Only God can see the whole picture. Know when vengeance is justified. And He claims that right. Not so He can actually strike down everyone who does wrong to someone else, but so that we humans will not take it upon ourselves to become a world of vigilantes.
