Vice President Cheney did say on this program they have reconstituted their nuclear weapons. Whether he misspoke or not, I’ll ask him next time he’s here.

Russert is overly optimistic. Cheney doesn't want to be seen with Russert anytime soon.
Unless Russert can be convinced to throw softballs, Cheney's responses would be damaging to the administration.

He's a more obvious liar than Rumsfeld, and has more to lose.

It's funny when Rummie says, "Gee, we KNEW where the WMDs were, but the next day they prolly moved, so don't expect us to actually find anything, even tho' we really really really knew where they were, once, honest!"

Then he lamely says N.Korea is less dangerous, even tho' they have proven nukes and are the "greatest distributor" of missile technology etc. I thought I actually saw his nose growing while he was talking.
