Hi KLP; Re: "Our Government has said it may take 2-4 years for us to be there. Let's see where we are in a year. Children can't wait that long. Grown ups can."

(1) Children believe in fairy tales. Adults don't.

(2) Children strike out at others even when it doesn't get them anywhere. Adults control their actions.

(3) It's easy to fool children into believing in any ludicrous lie at all. Adults understand how the world works and they're harder to fool.

(4) Children think that they can go anywhere and find love. Adults know that sometimes people just hate ya.

(5) Children believe that Daddy can protect them from anything, and that Mommy will always make it feel better. Adults know that sometimes there are problems with no solutions.

(6) Children believe that every story has a happy ending and that politicians would never lie to them. Adults know that many stories are tragedies and that politicians lie like dogs.

etc.
