Long, You are short on the comprehension end of things. Re: I thought Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld was supposed to be behind this. What's this "rogue Air Force" bit? They command all the US military. Look at the rosters of some of the right wing organizations. You'll find an interlocking group that includes not only the civilians you've mentioned but plenty more, and if you dig deeper, you'll scratch a number of the members of the military's present and former general staff who are deeply right wing ideologues. Start with PNAC, JINSA, AEI, Heritage and ATR, then look at ALEC, retired officers groups and the boards of directors of all the war profiteer corporations. You'll find what you are seeking. A cabal of right wing imperialists who see the ends of creating the American Empire to justify the means of terrorizing the American public and illegally invading any country they choose to.
