I did not mean to imply that he said we do not need courts, I was merely pointing out that they help economic growth, in underlining the dynamic analysis of government activity.

I have not focused on distinctions between the local and federal governments, not because they are unimportant, but because I was making a narrow point, which is that a lot of what government does could be considered productive, in support of the growth of GDP, although whether it is the wisest allocation of resources may be argued in a given instance.........

Right... not trying to abolish the Courts... but we could do without the mohair subsidy... and sugar tariffs... and Price Anderson.
