If Britain won't reveal its "information", it is probably as bad as the Niger forgeries. Once a lie is told, there is a strong incentive to keep on telling new lies to protect the old lies from being revealed: nytimes.com

If you begin with the assumption that the U.S. and British governments are being honest, yes, you could conclude that. Unfortunately, in the 96% of the world that are not U.S. citizens, Bin Laden is more respected than Bush, and makes no such assumptions.
