Joan, very bad analogy for us this morning. The building is creaking and I wonder if when a skyscraper gets blown over, it causes any damage to a fella on the 51st floor. Nah, doubt it. <G>

I just keep buying more and more BEARX. Had cut back a good bit last year, though I now wish I had just sold it all last October.

Incidentally, I did recently decide to actually spend a lot of money on my house. There are some tough characters up there on the roof right now lifting off terracotta tiles and piling them on a scaffold to be replaced after repairs. Next level down the flat roofs will be rebuilt and sheathed in pleated and soldered copper. All new copper gutters and downspouts. Maybe this new rally will pay for interior renovations when it (the rally, that is)collapses. I am proud to be able to put this stone-veneer house from the early 1920s into better condition than when it was first built.
