Interesting chart here stockcharts.com we are at the 5th attempt at a new high on that chart. go back to a price vs time chart stockcharts.com[w,a]daclyiay[d20010516,20040501][pb50!b200!d20,2!f][vc60][iUb14!Uk14!Ul14!Lp14,3,3!Lf!Lc20!Lah12,26,9]&pref=G and you see it wanted to "test" that "2001 944 level" from above before it can really go higher. If I look at the chart since the March 2003 shoulder at 789, we can draw a ascending triangle to today's level at 1015 or so... This ascending wedge should have a target of about 1220 which would put it just above the 2002 high ov 1177. Pretty cool!
