I can't help it. average joe keeps egging me on.

I haven't noticed. I have him on ignore. If you insist, you can join him, although I would rather not put you on ignore.

July 14 is a date to celebrate, but they should rename it

Or maybe they don't have to. Maybe they are happy the way their historical day is named. Maybe it is not your place to judge whether or not the French nation "should" rename their Bastille Day.

I don't think the Marquis is without value, btw

I actually find his work interesting, albeit a bit disturbing.

And please don't equate "Eurotrash" (a term that was coined by Taki Theodopopolous <sp?> relatively recently, and not without some affection) with the "n" word, which has quite a different history

Ah. I see you cannot even bring yourself to write "nigger". Good.

Now try to understand that other people might be offended by other words aimed at them, and "history" has NOTHING to do with this.

I used to word twice, to say that I "kept on saying it" it is an exaggeration

Don't make me go back and count the number of times you used the word "Eurotrash" AND posted articles that made use of this term, despite repeated replies from myself and others that this derogatory term was not appreciated.

If you still think you are right in this, in insisting on a deragotary term while others made it clear they were being annoyed at its use, then I don't know how else to explain to you that is not acceptable behaviour.

By the way, you still have not answered my question - Why do you keep mudslinging at anything and everything French on a thread titled "Support the French", if it is not to be obnoxious?

I am curious. You said that is not the reason why you post here. I would be interested to hear what is...

Why did US accept that f-right-hand-riding-driving, but not UK??

Was it just because it became as easy to f-flog the f-slaves on those f-roads
from any f-direction??

As well as the system of keeping them f-easy to recognize even when running out-of-ranch-and-
plantation errands become easier and easier, to the very last little f-drop of f-blood??

Not that easy without lots of f-foreign and f-far-away colonies, like UK, although US did its f-best
with f-Liberia, f-Monroe, f-Monrovia and the f-doctrine.
(in F-Virginia, a f-first-f-bubble-f-market for the f-PE-values of those f-properties, f-funny f-stuff,
page 124 of Takaki, f-Mirrors from different f-shores, better f-accounted for than f-Enron and f-Andersen)

f-freedom f-fries and f-statues of -f-statues with f-broken f-chackles around those f-ankles
(hmm, great f-fetishism material, still f-popular).
