No excuses for such HUGE deficits. Grey Davis is being slandered by the right for deficits much smaller than this, calling him "do-nothing" "asleep at the wheel", "anyone but Davis". And they still support the deficit king himself in the White House? It is also a LIE that they can cut the deficits only if re-elected. Their tax cuts are more and more backloaded as time goes on, and the war costs plus all the other new spending Bush wants are not going away. Time for conservatives to wonder what the hell we were doing spending 200 billion on an unnecessary war just to put it on the national credit card. I know many right wing talkshow hosts are already griping about it. You should too. Especially now that you know your Emperor George has not been honest with us.
