If it weren't CNN, we would be shocked. But Eason Jordan-CNN News Head...before the Iraq war stunned most thinking people in the US by saying that for the past 12 years (or was it 11?) that CNN had WITHHELD news of the regime of Saddam Hussein and how deadly he and his henchmen were. . WITHHELD . And because of that withholding, tens of thousands more Iraqis' died at that murders hands. Then CNN gives the very lame excuse that they were "protecting their staff in Iraq" (of course, not saying they could have left Iraq...so really they were protecting their business.
