Bush had most of us believing that Iraq had a nuclear program which was an immediate threat to the US. We believed this because of his Administration's constant hype on the issue. He had us believing that Saddam Hussein had chemical and biological weapons available for immediate use and he would turn over those weapons to terrorists. The threat was over hyped.

< There's no more proof that Bush hyped or misstated facts than there is that he intends to impose a theocracy on the US....this kind of post is why you have no credibility.... >

First step is the foot in the door......

Executive Order
Establishment of White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives

By the authority vested in me as President of the United States by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, and in order to help the Federal Government coordinate a national effort to expand opportunities for faith-based and other community organizations and to strengthen their capacity to better meet social needs in America's communities.......

Funny that for more than 200 years we didn't need this government religious intrusion into our lives. I don't want my tax dollars used to promote Christian propaganda, just as the Constitution was trying to prevent.
