LOL; Don't get me wrong, I read it with interest..and was glad you
pointed me to him. just because I thought he was a bit shallow
for being an expert has nothing to do with it.
At least he noticed that some of the more liquid stocks
in the S&P tend to weather the storms better than thin ones.

But the smart money didn't really hide in them, smart money
got out of the S&P early in 2000..when they saw the BIG guys
take a hit, then they hid in bonds
and the value line and mid caps.

P.S..
I had a late call out on the boat today, it seems a lot of shrimp boats
came into port and dropped anchor and went to bed...
About a dozen woke up this afternoon and found out the tide
went out and they are high and dry..My Tug couldn't budge
them.
I'll go back real early in the morning and see if I can
drag a few of them off, ( high tide will be at 8:30 AM
around here ) I'll start about 5AM and what I can't get
off by 10:30 will need to hire the really expensive
help.
Any way I've got to shut down, go to bed, and won't
be back on the net until late tomorrow.
