A christian is one who can honestly say that he was bought, saved and delivered by the blood of Christ. A christian is one who can personally claim John 3:3 for himself. A christian abhors what Jesus abhorred, nothing more, nothing less. Christians are "saved" not perfect, yet they should be open to truth, no matter what the source because in the end, if they are to glorify Christ, they had better recognize that all "truth" sets one free.
For the record: I have not been able to justify our attack on Iraq for the reasons given by our leadership. Whether or not President Bush knew this or that, isn't the question. He will answer to God himself. Our country along with Britain stated emphatically that our nation was in danger due to Saddam's regime. That remains to be seen in my opinion. We attacked Iraq because it gave us a good place to start in order to get some control in a very volatile region. It's so very obvious.
For my fellow christians, I'd suggest you listen carefully to your critics. Sometimes they speak more truth than your friends because they don't have the same emotional ties.
